Completed in 2010, this 6,655 square foot single story home in Carpinteria — a small oceanside city located in southeastern Santa Barbara County, California — is designed by Neumann Mendro Andrulaitis Studio.
This contemporary residence is designed to seamlessly open onto the panoramic coastal ridge-top site via expansive operable glazed walls. The home is anchored in place by substantial cut native sandstone walls. The architectural design evolved from the client’s desire for a home that is a tranquil place for living, art and retreat.
The project succeeded.

Bit of a walk to the pool… and I don’t know if I’d want a bedroom with all glass walls… but a VERY cool house…
