German firm Steeltec 37 designed a sleek contemporary home that floats on a lake. A “floating home” offers an experience of freedom combined with a maritime flair — a feeling of life dreamed of and inspired by transparency, surrounded with nature in harmony with the water. Similar to a sail the home features a specially curved roof to form a quiet modernist feel. An unsinkable pontoon offers security and provides the basis for the dream — life on the water.
