The Glass Igloo Village in Kakslauttanen, Finland is an amazing winter resort and skyward-focused hotel of individual glass igloos. Each igloo is fashioned with glass that allows one to gaze at the magnificent northern lights and millions of stars, all while relaxing comfortably in a comfortable, if sparse, warm room.
The glass igloo is a marvel of modern technology, based upon a groundbreaking thermal glass: the view stays clear even when the temperature outside drops to under -30°C. Every igloo is equipped with a lavatory and luxury beds. Every evening, a hot sauna and a refreshing ice hole also await guests.
In addition to the glass igloos, the resort features snow igloos, a snow restaurant, an ice gallery with ice sculptures, and a snow chapel for those seeking a unique wedding environ. In total there are 20 glass igloos and 60 beds in snow igloos.
