Obama “MADE in the USA” Mug & Tee Birth Certificate

What’s Another Word For “In Your Face?”

Last year President Obama said, “I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead.”

But that was last year, and the whole Birther conspiracy is over, right? Maybe not. This week a new book was released that the publisher says will be a best-seller “of historic proportions.” The title: “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” — yes, really.

What’s the best way for President Obama to commemorate banishing The Donald and his R-rated Birther rhetoric to the outer reaches of network TV syndication hell?  And trashing a trash book? Merchandising, of course!

So let’s just do this — get your Obama birth certificate mug or tee HERE

The slap in the face: on the back is an image of the president’s long-form birth certificate from Hawaii — the one the White House produced in April in an attempt to squelch the “birthers” who claim Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen, and therefore ineligible to be president.

The Obama 2012 campaign is enjoying a little fun with the idea of placing the documentation on display by slapping it on coffee mugs and tee-shirts that show Obama’s face on the front along with the words “Made in the USA.” They’re selling these collectibles on the campaign’s website.

I can think of a few people who could use a reminder with their morning java that it’s time to move on.

If you donate $15 or more to Obama’s reelection campaign, you can receive your own limited edition 2012 Made In The USA mug, featuring Obama’s birth certificate on the back. If you donate $25 or more, you can get a 2012 Made In The USA t-shirt, also featuring the birth certificate.

By the way… Jerome Corsi, whose new book is “Where’s the Birth Certificate?”—it is a “greatest-hits reel of delusions, ranging from 9/11 conspiracies to claiming that there is an infinite supply of oil in the Earth’s core. In 2008, he published a book about Barack Obama claiming, among other things, that he (a) is a secret Muslim; (b) is secretly anti-military; (c) secretly dealt drugs; and (d) secretly supported terrorist actions when he was eight years old. So many secrets!” according to Obama For America Deputy Campaign Manager Julianna Smoot.

Obama’s campaign says this new merchandising is the best way to mock such conspiracy theorists—at least until it’s a requirement to stamp a birth certificate on a U.S. President’s forehead.
