A-cero Architects’ Madrid House — Concrete Spanish Modernism Exemplar

Of course, Spain is under tremendous economic distress currently, but that makes the achievements of spanish architectural firm A-cero no less stunning and redefining.

One after another, the firm introduces modernism redefined — combining simplicity of material and line with lux components and sophisticated image. A-cero achieves a soft brutalism, and I find it to be of the highest order of design. I hope you’ll enjoy some examples of their work over the next few months.

Today, we take a look at a home in Madrid that is simply a sculptural work of art — to live in it functionally is the added bonus!

¡Buen Provecho! (Bon Appétit)
